Strengthening team cohesion and discovering the Basque country, a look back at the latest team seminar Digidop !
2 months after our last event on the Ile de Ré, the Webflow Digidop team got together for a seminar at home in Biarritz, well at home for me! Indeed, the Digiteam is scattered all over France and works in 100% remote and the idea is to make discover our respective regions to the other members of the team during our various seminars.
The first seminar of the year with a well thought out program
We started with a review of our current and upcoming projects, where we shared our ideas and feedback.
We also had dedicated times:
- brainstorming sessions in pairs designer / developer on UX, to better understand the process of our business and better work / collaborate together
- individual and group games based on various themes
> Lost in the desert (reflect on our way of doing things and prioritize)
> Cover-story (present the company vision Digidop that allows us to be on the cover of a well-known magazine)
These activities were very useful in reflecting on our ways of working and collaborating, prioritizing tasks, communicating/listening, creativity and collective vision in a project.
And we also spent time on strategic thinking and evolution of Digidop (inspirations, iterations)
with perfect breaks between sunshine ☀️ and babyfoot games!
Digidop to discover the Basque culture
The team was able to taste some local products and admire the magnificent panoramas between Bidart and Biarritz,
but also to learn Basque pelota with Jon Tambourindeguy, world champion of the discipline Cesta Punta , who founded Ona pelota to transmit his passion. He allowed us to discover several disciplines of Basque pelota (the bare hand, the pala, the chistera), with various challenges in a friendly atmosphere!
The challenge was won by Florian! 🎉
This type of activity is beneficial as a team, as it allows everyone to showcase communication, concentration and precision skills.
To close this seminar, the team put the fire on an improvised karaoke!

We stayed in a house selected by Florian and Thomas, which was located in a quiet place, tastefully decorated and inspiring. 👌🏽
In short, a nugget to get together and work on!
