Are you using ChatGPT to improve your productivity? Here are 3 Chrome extensions that will help you boost the tool and save time on your tasks!
For the past few months, we have been hearing more and more about artificial intelligence and how AI can revolutionize the way we work. The tool that has made the most noise is of course ChatGPT from Open AI. ChatGPT is an intelligent assistant that uses artificial intelligence. By asking it a question (by writing a prompt), we can ask it what we want and the tool will answer us.
In our article, we will quickly present 3 chrome extensions that will allow you to boost the capabilities of ChatGPT (because yes the tool has limits) and therefore improve your productivity!
Extension 1: AIPRM for ChatGPT
AIPRM for ChatGPT is an extension that simplifies the process of creating a prompt in ChatGPT.
Once the extension is downloaded, your ChatGPT interface changes and new features are added.
You can choose a prompt template according to the topic you want:
- Copywriting
- DevOps
- SEO
- SaaS
- Marketing
- Etc.
You can also filter the templates by sector or directly via the search bar.
After choosing a template, in the search bar (where we write prompts), we can choose the language of the response (output in), the tone (tone) and the writing style (writing style) to generate the perfect response. All we have to do is write our prompt according to the indication we are given (for example: [Title for your article]).
You can download the extension on chrome for free: AIPRM for ChatGPT
This extension is really powerful because it is powered by the community and therefore allows you to gather the best prompts to use depending on what you are looking for.

Extension 2: WebChatGPT
One of the limitations of ChatGPT is that the database of the tool stops in 2021. We can't have recent information (for example, which team won the 2023 world cup?).
With the WebChatGPT extension, you can go beyond this limit. Indeed, the tool allows you toinclude in your prompts the search results of the subject you are dealing with.
After downloading the extension (free), we have a new feature bar in ChatGPT. We have a toggle button to activate the option to access the web. We can also choose the number of search results to include, the date and the region of the search.
In its response, ChatGPT will take into account the title and descriptions of these search results to provide relevant answers.
It should be noted, however, that ChatGPT will not crawl the search result pages and therefore its answers are limited to what is present in the searches.
Extension 3: ReaderGPT
ReaderGPT is a Google extension that allows you to summarize the content of a web page using ChatGPT in 1 click.
After downloading the extension, you can go to a web page and click on the extension from your extension bar. A kind of pop-up will appear on the top right of your web page and ChatGPT will start to make a summary of the content present on the page. Rather effective to avoid reading a whole page and get the essential information.
At present, the extension has some limitations:
- The abstract is only in English
- If the content of the page is too long, the extension may not make a summary
Now you can take advantage of these extensions and boost your productivity to the maximum while avoiding wasting time on repetitive, tedious tasks.
