Multilingual website strategy and no-code ? A detailed review of our meetup with No-Code France and Weglot last week

Key points to remember

Last week, we had the opportunity to co-host a presentation on the challenges of a multilingual site with Weglot.

We discussed interesting topics such as:

  • International SEO,
  • Best practices to manage your multilingual site,
  • The different options to translate your website.

1 - International SEO

We explained how search engines such as Google view multilingual sites and how they rank pages based on search queries in different languages. We also discussed best practices for optimizing your site for international SEO.

2 - Best practices for a multilingual site

We shared practical tips for managing a multilingual site effectively. We explained how to ensure that content is consistent across all languages, how to manage redirects and hreflang tags, and how to avoid common mistakes when managing a multilingual site.

3 - How to translate your site (no-code)?

Finally, we discussed the different options for translating your website. We talked about manual translation, machine translation and using a professional translation service. We also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each method and the best practices for implementing them on your website.
