Do you create content? Here is a method and effective examples to boost your content marketing production (seo, web, etc..)
In 1 year at Digidop, team of 4 people, we have created ;
- 250+ blog posts,
- + 100 Youtube videos,
- 100+ tool sheets.
This amount of content creation may seem impressive. And yet it is accessible!
How do you do it? With a strategy based on theinstallation of a habit.
The best strategy for content creation
👉 Routine: Yes, routine is good!
I tell you a story...
In Q1 and Q2 2022, we published content on the web daily.
The action of creating daily has given birth to a "magical" energy in the team. Motivated by the desire to never break this chain.
We could easily feel this energy when the publication queue of our CMS (blog) or our Youtube Studio was emptying...
Then we broke the chain.
One day, an article was not published. Then two... And the "magic" of the channel was gone. A relaxation set in (really similar to a sports routine!)
But we understood something important. Our mistake.
The mistake was to let this day without publication not be "unique". But to have accepted "two days" without publication, then three... etc.
Create lots of content: the 3 key points 👇
1. Create a content creation routine
2. Don't let this routine break down
"Don't break the magic chain"
3. If it ever breaks, pick up the thread as quickly as possible!
Broken routine? 😰
Check out my 3 tips for putting it back together;
- Highlight what this content creation has brought (seo position, credibility, business opportunity and partnership, etc.)
- Recall the (vital 🏥) stakes of this content creation!
- Define individual and collective (quantifiable) objectives for the team
Bonus: reuse your content (cross platform)
When time seems to be running out, don't hesitate to "recycle" your content. Why recycle your content on different platforms?
- You may not have the same audience on different platforms(Youtube, Linkedin, Blog, social network, etc...). Let your entire audience benefit from your quality content!
- The formats are not identical. But, it is easier to adapt a content to a different format (audio, long/short text) than to create it from scratch
- Time. Recycling your content can be a real time-saver! (No need to go through the process of finding ideas, examples, etc.)
Example?
This blog post is a recycled (and expanded) version of one of my Linkedin posts
It's up to you!
