Google Search Console tutorial to add and manage users of a property in a few steps!
Search Console is an indispensable tool from Google if you want to track the organic performance of your website. You have access to many reports to get an overview of your SEO statistics. The advantage of this tool is that you can add different users for the same property.
Today's article will focus on how to add users to Google Search Console.
Step 1: Login to Search Console
The first step is of course to connect to your Search Console property.
In order to add new users, it is important to bear in mind that you can only do so if you are a confirmed owner of the property (domain name) in question. If this is not the case, you must call on an owner to carry out the manipulation.
Step 2: General settings
Once you are logged in (as a confirmed owner), you need to go to the settings for the property in question in the Search Console.
The settings are accessible via the menu on the left of the interface. If you scroll down to the bottom, you will find the "Settings" section below "Links". All you have to do is click on it.
Step 3: Property settings
Once in the settings, several sections are displayed. The one we are interested in is the first one "Property Settings". In this section, if you are a confirmed owner, you will see a box called "Users & Permissions". It is in this section that you can act on the users of your property, so click on it!
Step 4: Property settings
In "Users & Permissions" you have a list of all the people who have access to your property in the Search Console and the type of access (full, limited or owner).
You can easily modify the roles and add a user thanks to dedicated buttons. Simply add an email address, define a role and click on add.
Now you know how to manage your users in Google Search Console. By the way, if you want to optimize the SEO performance of your Webflow site, Digidop is there for you.
