Key points to remember

Introduction:

On August 29, 2023, Webflow took another step forward by unveiling the next generation of Webflow Apps, a major update that promises to transform the way Webflow websites are designed and managed. In this article, we explore the latest advances in Webflow Apps and introduce you to some of the most interesting Apps you'll be able to integrate into your future projects.

Here we go!

Webflow Apps: an overview

Webflow Apps is a library of third-party applications that you can install on your site from the Webflow Marketplace. These Apps are designed to extend Webflow's key functionalities, notably around forms, CMS collections, user accounts and e-commerce, all now directly integrated into the Webflow Designer.

6. If necessary, follow the App's instructions to add it to your site.

How to use Apps in Designer

This is the big new feature of the new Webflow Apps: Apps can now be accessed directly from the Designer via an integrated App window, enabling them to interact directly with the design of your site.

To use an App in the Designer :

1. Open the Apps panel.

2. Hover over the App you wish to open.

The App will open in a window overlaying the Webflow interface, allowing you to take full advantage of its features without leaving the Designer.
