We're launching on TikTok! Discover in this article the strategy behind the launch of Digidop on this new network.

We're not early, but it's never too late to start 👊 We're launching our webflow agency on the viral platform everyone's talking about... TikTok!

The objectives of this launch

I talked about it in this post on Linkedin, when I was in North America, I was alerted by the use of TikTok as a search engine. An alternative to Google or Youtube for the search of "How to" content.

But beyond this "simple" use (which is a hyper-strategic use), according to the comments of many content creators, TikTok appears today as the most viral platform to spread its creations.

And at Digidop, we have a very simple method to make your own opinion : TEST!

Test the video platform

The main objective of this launch is to test the platform:

  • Its algorithm
  • Its business impact
  • Its search engine functionality
  • The virality of a TikTok video

To do that we'll have to create video content that appeals to TikTok users. And that will force us to...

Vary the format of our content

TikTok's audience is surely quite different from our blog's audience. The launch on the TikTok platform allows us to vary the style of content that we already produce at Digidop(blog, Youtube "how to", Linkedin, etc..)

With a simple goal: to create video content on TikTok that TikTok users like!

This is a new challenge for our creative team.

And in Bonus.

We can find synergies between platforms. The objective is to "recycle" the content already created, by adjusting the format, to reach a new audience. "Recycling" content is an effective strategy to distribute a lot of content, very quickly.

1st week on TikTok: time to assess

It's officially been 7 days since we created our TikTok account. So, what are our results?

By the numbers:

  • 0 to 170 subscribers
  • 375 likes
  • 6 videos on tiktok
  • +10,000 reach

Analysis:

The virality of the platform is real. 95% of our numbers come from the success of a video(Quentin broke the algo directttt 👏).

The content that seems to work best with us, in terms of interactions/likes, is the "lifestyle" content from our remote web agency (everyone works from home, or wherever they want in the world 🌎).

We will therefore adopt this strategy for the creation of video content on the TikTok account of Digidop.

Of course, we will also continue to offer video training content on our favorite no-code tools(Figma X Webflow 💜) ☀️
