After a first successful collaboration with Reecall, Guillaume Laguette, now CRO at echOpen, once again trusted us with a new project: the launch of a medical product.
Project background
- Industry: Medical
- Country: France
- Type of company: Start-up with a mission
- Tools used: Figma, Webflow, Client-First Framework
Who is echOpen?
echOpen is a start-up whose mission is to make clinical ultrasound accessible to all healthcare professionals, and to help improve people's health.
Project challenges with Digidop
- Launch of a 3-in-1 medical solution : Putting forward a 3-in-1 solution - a portable probe (physical object) combined with two applications (digital solutions) - is a real UX challenge.
- Consistency with SaaS : The 2 applications ran in parallel with the site, which was also being redesigned.
- A low-digital-readiness target: As the target audience for this product is doctors and hospitals, who generally have a low level of digital maturity, the aim of the site was to explain the product simply and quickly.
- A need for reassurance: The offer is new, and the start-up is still little-known in the sector. So there's a real need for reassurance!
- The site needs to be scalable: echOpen's marketing teams want to make this site evolve, which will be "a V1".
- Time to Market : The site needs to be launched quickly as a V1, as this is essential to start communicating the launch of new offers and features.
- Legal restrictions : There are a number of legal restrictions to be taken into account due to the medical sector in which echOpen operates.
Strategy and Solutions
- UX FIRST design: The aim is to get the message across easily.
- UX/UI product focus: From Figma onwards, we worked closely with the echOpen teams to bring the product to the fore - in the best possible way - anticipating all the questions a future practicing user might have. We also had to coordinate our efforts with the Product Designers to maintain graphic consistency between the App and Website system designs.
- Resource hub: Implementation of a "hub" of resources including: blog, customer feedback, videos, press releases, various probe application cases (for different medical specialties) to address reassurance issues. These, combined with good development practices, will enable echOpen to achieve good SEO results.
- Webflow development: We used the low-code development tool Webflow to quickly develop echOpen's website using the best web technologies. Having integrated the Client-First framework and trained the echOpen team in Webflow's CMS interface, they will be able to manage their new site autonomously and keep it evolving.
- Support: The current site is a V1, and the start-up's ambition is to evolve rapidly. We therefore proposed and put in place tools to continue our collaboration, and our support, in the coming years. (Notion, Ticketing, Slack)
Results
- A site that meets the startup's challenges: The new site, with its UX first design, makes it easy for doctors to understand the product, while reassuring them of its quality thanks to a number of reassurance levers.
- SEO results for sure: Answer in a few months....
