The best tools to add content (texts, images, icons, videos) quickly and easily to your website without any web skills!

Key points to remember

Having a website is good, having a site with content is better! The content of a website is what will make the difference between two websites in addition to the design and the UX. However, filling in the different pages of your website can be a tedious task. Today we will show you a simple and effective way to add your content to your web pages.

In our article, we will assume that you have neither resources nor too much time. The aim of the article is to suggest different ways of filling your site quickly and productively, step by step.

1. Adding visuals to a website

1.1 Adding images or videos

To integrate images or videos without it taking too much time, you can use royalty-free and free image banks. There are a lot of them, but we recommend the following 3:

  1. Pexels
  2. Unsplash
  3. Freepik
  4. Midjourney

Once on one of the sites, all you have to do is type in your keyword, choose your image (or video), upload it and insert it in the appropriate place.

1.2 Adding icons

As with images, there are also icon libraries. Find the icon that suits you best and add it to your website. We recommend the following sites to download your icons in SVG:

  1. Iconify
  2. Icons8
  3. Flaticon

To go further: find out how to add SVG icons via HTML code.

2. Adding text to a website

2.1 Filling in the sections of its pages

If you don't know what to write for your content or what keywords to put in your text, there are several solutions for you.

Firstly, you can use AI (Artificial Intelligence) writing tools. There are also a lot of them, but the following 3 offer a free version:

  1. CopyAI
  2. Longshot
  3. Rytr
  4. ChatGPT

In a second step, you can work on your synonymy and the use of keywords (mainly for SEO) with 1.fr.

2.2 Writing articles

Finally, to add blog posts to your website easily, you can use the AI tools presented earlier or use the Dokey tool. Dokey is an SEO optimised writing tool. To find out more about Dokey, you can read our article on the subject.

Thanks to these different sites and no-code tools, you will be able to add content to your website independently. If you need a website for your business, you can contact our Webflow agency.
